Wil and I both enjoy cooking food, venturing out to consume and working out- each is an integral part of our daily lives. We are blessed to reside in a town that is filled with restaurants, stores, and markets that offer locally grown and sustained produce and meat along with other delicious dishes.
If you’re in the area, make sure to check out the BIRA website before going to- most of our favorite restaurants are shown! Meet my hubby, Wil! Wil is the owner of a fitness service here in town called Force Fitness and Performance. Wil was a collegiate Track and Field athlete at Indiana University and loves to Olympic Lift (he was a national champion).
His facility focuses on athlete training, fitness, bootcamps and includes the utilization of kettlebells, TRX suspension coaches, Olympic Lifting techniques, medication balls and more. That’s where I really do my strength training and bootcamp workout routines, but I love hot yoga exercises also, running, swimming, cycling, and much any outdoor activity pretty. I graduated from Hawaii Pacific University in 2007 with a degree in public areas Relations and currently work in marketing at a medical device company.
I’m also the co-owner of a marriage planning and design business in Bloomington called The Bird & The Bee Wedding Planning, and Design. So, you may be wondering where in fact the name “Fitness is Delicious” originated from. I love fitness. I love things that are delicious. Plain and simple, fitness is delicious to me and so is fantastic food. The goal of my blog is to share. To share fitness, workout, and training tips, food, and formulas I’ve attempted, products I love (and hate) and other sport and food-related topics.

I have heard that Planet Fitness is as much about meeting people as fitness. I, as anyone who has had a very good physique and may lift quite seriously in the popular lifts find their advertisements insulting. Their televised commercials can be viewed as funny or discriminatory. The commercials imply if one is strong or has a good physique, then naturally it follows that the individual is intellectually challenged. If you’re serious about enhancing your health, building self-discipline and confidence why choose a franchise that bases its business profile on such a premise? One of the main selling points is a minimal membership fee. Have you ever heard the manifestation, “you get what you pay for”.
What level of fitness do you wish to achieve? Establish some goals. If you are just beginning don’t overdue. That is why many people’s goal of becoming fit ends. Join a fitness center where there is a mix of equipment and that maybe offers alternatives such as aerobic and yoga classes.
Gyms such as these will have someone competent to explain the selectorized and dish loaded equipment during your first visit at no cost. That is a good place to start. Once you’ve developed some overall power and you are well developed up you’ll be able to decide if you wish to try dumbells.
